Join us on Easter Sunday for the first of our 2018 season events.
We will be taking a closer look at evolution of Electric Vehicles to coincide with our new 'IT'S ELECTRIC!' exhibition.
If you have an electric vehicle and wish to come along, we will be providing parking on our site for you and we will also be issuing Complimentary Museum Entry tickets (a limited amount of tickets available, please arrive early to avoid disappointment).
Access to the parking area will be via Gate 4, at the corner of the public car park next to the Alford Tandoori. This entrance will be well signposted. Gates will open at 10am.
More details about our It's Electric! exhibition
Our new exhibition will give you an in depth view of the evolution of the EV's, past, present and most importantly the future.
Did you know that the stop, start story of the electric car began in Aberdeen? In 1839 Robert Davidson demonstrated a passenger carrying EV in the city. We will tell Davidson's story in full and chart the progress with electric cars, even probing the future.
We are also working on a full sized working replica of Robert Davidson's reluctance motor. This is being faithfully created by our volunteers and staff and will be up and running in time for our new season beginning.
