Produced between 1976 and 1986 and with design features borrowed from the Ferrari Daytona, this was the only Rover SD1 Vitesse operated by the Grampian Police force.

It was the arrival of the new A90 bypass at Stonehaven which prompted the force to invest in a new high-speed vehicle to help patrol the regions roads. C356 YST began her working life on 10th December 1985 and remained in service for a little over two and a half years.

Now fully restored and boasting a credit on the Channel 4 show 'For the Love of Cars' you can see this original Jam Sandwich at the Grampian Transport Museum throughout 2019.
